What I’d wear as an Emily Henry main character

Emily Henry books always make me want to reinvent my entire wardrobe and move somewhere coastal where every interaction feels emotionally significant. Her characters somehow make heartbreak, awkward tension, and falling in love look aesthetically pleasing, so I started imagining the outfits I’d wear if I existed inside one of her books.

1) The work outfit for first appearance in first Chapter

​The kind of outfit that says “im scared of love so i overwork in my law firm office with my mind made up that love is not for me”.

                    

2) The meet-cute outfit

Inspired specifically for arguing with the future possible love interest over a cab in the rain after finishing a meeting with a client. (He stole my cab).

                   

3) The “I hate him but unfortunately he’s hot” outfit

Running into the cab stealer on a night out with the girls at the local bar.

                    

4) The crying beautifully after the miss-communication trope happens outfit.

The moment where we all fear for comes and i end up on my kitchen floor, or my living room couch, with a bottle of wine in hand and tissues on the other as i find a reason of my crying to watch a sad movie just to cry more because he decided to choose a job in different city over me.

                    

5) The rain confession outfit

Mandatory after he shows up at my doorstep yearning. 

                     

6) The happy ending in the epilogue outfit

The engagement chapter everyone awaits for for the emotional stability to be achieved after 300 pages of suffering.
